Job Description

Weever is seeking an Enterprise Software Account Executive (AE) with a passion for increasing productivity in manufacturing. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Enterprise Account Executive(AE) will play a vital role in helping us to achieve our aggressive growth plans by developing new business prospects and managing the full sales cycle sales process.  This includes initial lead generation, prospect evaluation, negotiation, closing and expansion.

Your expertise in manufacturing and passion for finding strategic solutions will be essential in growing our client base and delivering the people-driven value that they can’t get with other solutions.

  • Location – Remote (within Canada) – or in office at our awesome location in Hamilton!
  • Travel – 10-20%
  • OTE – $120-$200k+ (uncapped) – you get out what you put in
Day to day activities:
  • Manage full sales cycle from initial lead contact, opportunity, to negotiation, closure and expansion.
  • Meet with potential clients to determine business needs and solve their problems
  • Generate new business and build and maintain relationships with prospects and clients to develop your network
  • Collaborate with product/marketing teams to provide feedback to improve the process and product
  • Attend training workshops, meetings, and marketing events to increase professional learning and development.
Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes - Knowledge of operations, safety, quality, and maintenance procedures (Lean / TPM / WCM knowledge an asset)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in outside sales, preferably into manufacturing
  • Technologically-savvy
  • Clear communication / storytelling ability to explain to a client the future state and the path to get there
  • Problem-solving mindset and passion for finding strategic solutions to client challenges
  • Advocate for better ways to do things, not afraid to speak up and share your perspective
  • Ability to qualify business requirements
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a desire to deliver results and meet targets.
  • Ability to meet with prospects and clients, fostering trust and building relationships
  • Ability to engage confidently across all levels of an organization from frontline staff to C-suite executives
  • Ability to work, adapt and grow in a high paced, team-oriented, rapid growth environment.
  • A valid Canadian drivers license

Bonus points if:

  • You have sold industrial automation solutions
  • You have worked with CI managers in manufacturing
  • You are an expert at one of -  TPM (autonomous maintenance, 5S etc…), Safety programs (safety observations, incident reporting etc…)

Application Process

Our hiring process consists of four steps:

  2. Initial interview and discussion
  3. Mock sales demonstration
  4. Final Interview

We start with an initial call in order to answer any initial questions you may have about us and to discuss your experience.

The mock sales demonstration is a 30 minute call where you will go through a full sales call and have the chance to show your skills in how you would demonstrate the solution.

We’re typically pretty quick to follow up, potentially with an offer, within a day or two of the final interview, though this may vary at times.
